Emmanuel Truth and Reconciliation Ministry (ETRM) Hosts Transformative Training for Clergymen in Zaria and Uyo
The Emmanuel Truth and Reconciliation Ministry (ETRM) has successfully trained approximately 200 Anglican clergymen from the Zaria Diocese in the effective use of the One Minute Witness tool. This innovative resource enables Christians to share their faith succinctly and impactfully. The training took place at St. George’s Cathedral in Zaria, where the Right Reverend Ishaya Baba, along with the clergymen and their spouses, actively engaged in the session.
Following the success in Zaria, the ETRM team traveled approximately 918.2 kilometers to Uyo, where they continued their mission at the University Chapel. This gathering drew participation from students, members of various churches, and the Chapel community, all eager to learn. The One Minute Witness tool equips believers with the skills to effectively witness to non-believers in just one minute.
The training sessions were not only interactive but also transformative, as participants were introduced to discipleship strategies using the Coaching Micro-Group model provided by the Global Discipleship Initiative (GDI).
Through these initiatives, ETRM continues to empower believers, fostering a greater capacity for sharing their faith within their communities.
